Sporting & Benfica have been great to watch over the last couple of seasons. Sporting at home play good football. That Martinelli run stopped by St Juste was like Whittaker for rangers in the semi against Sporting. Great game

This referee used double standards wjen using the whisle against Arse. Just to allow a tackle behing with contact on P Gonçalves knee and not stop it but to easily give Morita Yellow card for a tackle on the ball which is normal in football but i accept if he thought was dangerous play. But tackle behind with contact on a player that is turning around wasnt enough to be considered faul. I think referee was not being fair in judging situations that gave advantages to other team to score. Stop and check the image. That is why VAR is there for. He was not fair to Sporting.

Why isn't anyone talking about the SHADY REFEREE? Arsenal was lucky to have 2 goals allowed. How come he didnt check the VAR for those 2 fauls. I'm a Sporting and Arsenal supporter and at the start of this tie (which ideally to me should only happen in the final, but here we are 😄) I didn't want any of them to loose their home matches, regardless of which team goes through. But after what happened yesterday I now almost wish Sporting to win the second leg. Why? Well, the refereeing was appalling and benefited Arsenal hugely! There was a foul by Saka that lead to that second goal, which was one of several fouls not given to Sporting. It had a huge impact on the game. Anyway, I'll be at the Emirates come Thursday, supporting... both teams?!? 😆😄 Either way, I reckon Arsenal will get it over the line and that's good to me.

That saka challenge is a foul leading upto the goal and the other arsenal goal had 2 players offside and 1 holding the sporting player nearest to the goal scorer, which is another foul not given and 2 arsenal players offside.
